I used to have a "Sent" folder, but it disappeared some time back. Now, I can send emails, but since I don't have a Sent folder, I cannot get the messages to save in my "Sent" folder. How to fix it? I don't know how to add a "Sent" folder.

Sounds like you use an IMAP account, is that correct? https://www.siteground.com/kb/how_to_subscribe_to_an_imap_folder_with_thunderbird/

Subscribe the send folder from your mail server.

Then go to your account settings in thunderbird and "Copies & Folders" and select the folder to save copies of emails to (after sending) "Place a copy in" or something like that
