Using Firefox Portable (latest, 65) after creating an account on tenderbeta and making a profile, even when do CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and delete 'for all time' of everything except browsing history, including site app data and preferences, and restart firefox - On the Profile page it still shows you as logged into the account as if nothing happened

Clearly the data is being kept somehow past the deletion but not sure how to check what data is being accessed

After closing all 3 instances of firefoxportable.exe (not sure how that happened, probably from errors earlier when trying to get it started while running firefox 43 at the same time which it did fine after I opened portable then 43) and restarting it again, the cleared private data was gone as it should have been on the other Firefox restarts, but prior to that firefox was closing and starting as if there was no problem, no error messages (with AdditionalParameters=-no-remote AllowMultipleInstances=true DisableIntelligentStart=true )

The Firefox portable version uses its own profile that is located in its installation folder and shouldn't interfere with other Firefox versions.

If you keep tabs open and automatically restore tabs from the previous session then sessionstore saves cookies used by these tabs, so make sure to close all tabs before closing Firefox.
