I created a Template with a Blind cc: to another account as a default. I now need to modify the template to delete the blind cc:

At this point I have tried all of the different "solutions": deleted all templates in the T-bird "Templates" folder in the "Inbox". Created a new one without the BCC: Done this in all possible combinations and permutations of order. Updated and restarted T-bird. The old template with the BCC still comes up when create a new message. Does not matter whether I use the Write tab or Message>New. (I vaguely recall there being an option to select a Template at this point. If so, it's disappeared. Just like the "three bar" icon that according to Mozilla Support is supposed to appear on the right side of the Mail Tool Bar when the Menu Bar is hidden. I have not been able to find anything that useful on where or how to locate the default template settings.

Next step is to go into the USER/APPData/. . ./Thunderbird/Profiles/Templates folder. . .like one "solution" recommended. That would work great--if that folder existed, but it doesn't in any of the subfolders represented by the /.../

Any and all suggestions welcome.

First, I suggest right-clicking the Templates folder, Compact, to remove any templates that have been deleted, i.e. removed from view, but not permanently removed. Do the same for Trash.

The normal way to open a template is to double-click the template message in the Templates folder. The Templates folder location is defined for each account under Tools/Account Settings, in the Copies & Folders section. If you are accessing templates in any other way, it's probably via an add-on.
