Opening a .php link now asking for a program or to download instead of opening link
It would normally kjust follow the link, For some reason not working now, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but no joy. And archived solution said delete mimeTypes.rdf file, but I can't find it. Thanks for any help. Think I'll need to switch to chromw until I can get this working.

Excuse my terrible typing please :D
Normally the server would process the PHP code and send the processed file as text/html. If you would get a download prompt then this would suggest that the server isn't processing the file properly.
You can check this in the Network Monitor.
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer

Hi rod_c, is the problem specific to that site? For example, what about this PHP file:

Thank you for sharing your add-ons list, it mentions Bitdefender. Bitdefender has a feature to pre-filter your browsing requests, so if you want to rule that out as a factor, check the Bitdefender section of the following article: How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites.
