I do not alter anything in the settings in Firefox,the only way they are altered is when Firefox does a update

Would you please check to see if that box is ticked anyway ?

Would you also check in 3-bar menu => Logins and Passwords, "login.live.com" is listed ?

Could be a problem with cookies or with an extension.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows an highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection

You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Are you using the Password Manager to enter a saved password automatically or are you typing the password ?

Hi,I have Tried using Password Manager (that does not Work) & therefore I use my Password by Typing it in,But That goes no where & then I have to hit Reload Current Page & that States it needs to be resent & then It comes up with the Log in details & states the Password is incorrect(sorry to put it this way (BULLSHIT) Between Yesterday & today,I have reset that many passwords,it is not funny anymore & I am running out of passwords Firefox is the PROBLEM,if I cannot Fix it(with your help) I will give Firefox the Flick,it has cost me many many,many Hours & Frustration is not the word for it

Thanks Darryl Darryl

Bing is not a browser though; it's a search engine (like Google Search).

Microsoft's default browser is either Edge or Internet Explorer - as you mention the latter a few times, that will probably be the browser you use to login.

May I ask : When you click on the 3-bar menu => Options => Privacy & Security; under "Logins and Passwords" - is the box "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" checked ?
