What is the "location" in the folder properties used for?

We used to use SaaS, which provides an imap proxy, but we've moved from that SaaS to an imap connection directly to Gmail.

Right-click on your inbox-> select Properties and check "Location" under "Folder Properties" and you will see the SaaS URL. imap: // {user} @ {saas_url} / INBOX

Do you know what behavior this "location" affects? As far as I can see the packet capture, there is no communication to the SaaS when receiving the mail, but it is unpleasant: (

Supplement What we did during the migration changed the settings on the imap and smtp servers/ports.

The communication for sending and receiving emails has been switched to Gmail normally, but the SaaS URL remains only in the "location".
