I get the following error message when retrieving messages on my desktop using Mozilla Thunderbird. I'm using window 10, this recently started. "server mail.knology.net has disconnected. the server may have gone down or there may be a network problem". I'm able to send messages but not receive them. I'm able to receive emails on iphone app and on internet provider website. I spoke with my internet provider and everything is set up properly.

same problem, different server, and i think it is related to a new version being automatically updated on my machine. 78 just wouldn't work for me, so i rolled back to 65 and had no problems but looking at my update history i've had a few auto updates since end february, 87 & 88 and i think thats whe it first started. i still send, and recieve without problems, but there are time lags between transferring messages from one folder to another, say form inbox to archives.
