Thunderbird email program 78.12.0 (64 bit) not filtering correctly, again.

Dear Support,

T-Bird program 78.12.0 (64 bit) OS Windows 10--is acting up once again as far as filtering goes. For some strange reason I am finding all my emails several days later in another folder besides going into the inbox folder. Now when I run the filter most of the emails in this particular folder does filter them back to their original folder some of them but not all them. This has happen before quite a few times and it is when the t-bird is updated; I've been keeping tabs on this so I know. This has become a huge pain for me to look for these emails days later in other folders which I do have many, many folders-- that is not going in the inbox, I do have everything set up correctly as far as filtering goes. Why does this happen to me? I also deleted this filter where the emails are going and they still ended up there in that particular folder. I compact emails several times a week I delete all older emails in folders within 30 days I have them setup that way. Does anybody know what the issue could be or what approach I could take to stop this annoying time consuming issue? Thanks-- David

Dear Support , Just an update I notice I found some more emails in that particular folder again not going into inbox and I then I selected them all via highlighted and sent them back to the inbox folder well they ended up back at that particular folder again what is happening here?
