Calendar Event Opens in a Small New Window Instead of a New Tab

more options

Hello,

I recently reinstalled Windows on my PC and had to upgrade Thunderbird to 128.3.0esr. Now, when I open an event from the Calendar, it opens in a tiny window with an Edit button. When I click on the Edit button, it opens the event in a slightly larger window that has to be manually resized in order to properly edit the description and other details. There is no standard "Maximize" icon on this Event window. In older versions, the Event simply opened as a new tab in the main UI, which was vastly more efficient and user friendly. Is there any way to reenable this functionality? The current functionality is a bit frustrating.

Thank you.

Thank you very much! I had to reboot Thunderbird for the Calendar settings to appear. Before I posted this question, I couldn't find any Calendar options. This is so much better!
