Autofill Varification Codes
I haven't figured out how to get Firefox to fill in Verification Codes when logging into web sites that require such.
Can you provide steps to this feature?
Chosen solution
Yeah, I understand.
I found a link to some add-ons that can be used in Firefox to auto-fill verification codes. I didn't want to put something in Firefox that wasn't native to the browser. I don't trust third party add-ons.

What site are you referring to here?
I'm referring to any site that sends a SMS text code in a two step login. I get the text message notification but I have to read the number and type it in myself. If I can access the same site with the Safari Browser, the texted code can be auto-filled as it should.
Firefox is great for keeping and auto-filling User names and Passwords but it falls short when the site wants a two step verification.
How is that related to Firefox Browser? That goes to your smartphone txt msg replies. Where version and what device version of Firefox are you using here?
I'm on a MacBook running Firefox 132.0.2 (up to date).
It's related to the Firefox Browser because it doesn't auto-fill the verification code.
No big deal. I'm not going to keep trying to describe what's going on. Firefox is a secondary browser for me and it always will be. I just thought there might be some easy remedy.
Thanks for your replies.
It is likely that Firefox being a third-party browser doesn't have access to this SMS code, while Safari being close to the OS (compare with IE and Windows) has more privileges and can access and fill this data.
