I am planning to buy a new computer to replace my current one. The new computer will have Windows 11 and the current one Windows 10. I notice the current Thunderbird files are located in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird. I backup these files every day. When I install Thunderbird on the new computer, do I copy my backed up files to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird BEFORE starting the Thunderbird application on my new computer for the first time? Will Thunderbird be able to locate all of my email accounts as well the current local files? Is there anything that I need to do and/or change? Thanks for your help.
