When I use the pointer to hover over a button or a link, I used to see a description of what that button was (on a webpage) or a brief preview of what was in that link. I have lost that feature, please help.
This just happened today. If you scroll over any portion of the page you see an empty dialogue box. If I scroll over the icons on this page, the dialogue box is empty, it would show in the past what the icons meant. Please help!!

Known to be cause by the Google Toolbar extension. Disable it and those tooltips should reappear. You might want to check and make sure that you have the latest version of the GTB.

Thank you so much, it worked. That has been driving me insane!! I thought I did have the latest version of GTB, I will try downloading it again. If the same error occurs, what should I do? I really preferred having the convenience of having the search tool bar.
the-edmeister, I have this same problem, but I do not have the Google Toolbar installed. Is there anything else to cause this. I've been putting up with this for some time now. I am using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13 with Vista SP2. Help

p.s. After "correctly" uninstalling the Google Toolbar, the problem appears to have been corrected.
