When I do a search and click on one of the entries, I get a page of ads instead of the web site I was looking for.
I am trying Firefox as a replacement for IE. I am very unhappy with the search results. No matter which search engine I use, after I get a list of results and click on one of them, I get a page of ads instead of the website I was looking for. If I do the search again and click on the link again, I may get to the site. The is a deal breaker for me if I can't search easily. What is happening?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
