Most of Firefox add-ons that we found usefull and became familiar with are not compatible with Firefox 6. Would Firefox team kindly have a way to prompt and motivate their Add-ons developers to produce newer versions of their works? Thanks a lot.

And that's true for FF7 too! I've just upgraded.
Ok, there was something wrong anyway! After i had searched FF add-ons site, i found new versions of the add-ons i wanted (Firebug, Fireshot, CashViewer and others), not only for FF6 but also for FF7!
But in the close past, I didn't receive any update alert although i set the 'Update add-ons Automatically' feature in Add-ons Manager settings menu. Also using the 'Check for updates' command in the same menu didn't return results.
So, is there something wrong with those two features? or the new add-ons versions where offered as separate new projects? I am not sure.
