Chosen solution

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac.
Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 7 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:

Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:

The other option, which is a lot easier than trying to find things on the page is to go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ Right (or control) click on the download link and copy the link location. Paste that into your URL bar, and change the version number in there to the one you want.

E.G. http://www.mozilla.org/products/download.html?product=firefox-7.0.1&os=osx&lang=en-US Change the 7.0.1 to 3.6.23 or 2.0 or 1.0 or whatever version number you want.
