Bookmarks Toolbar has to be manually opened whenever I start Firefox. Firefox, options, bookmark toolbar. Way to save? Yahoo is default search in upper right corner. I would like Google to be the default. Thank You

Hi Peter3m3m- That is odd that your Bookmarks toolbar and search engine choices are not saved. I would recommend that you update to the latest version of Firefox here:

Hopefully installing the latest version will fix this issue.
The selection of the Yahoo search engine can be caused by an extension.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

The disappearance of the Bookmarks Toolbar can be a problem with the localstore.rdf file.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
