When I visit a mapping site the cursor appears about 50mm off where I start and the route is always that far out -why?
I want to create a walk/run on the site, so the whole route is mapped on the site as 50mm away from the actual route. I didn't have this problem about 3 weeks ago, so what's changed? The site seem to think I have altered a setting, but not knowingly on purpose. I am complete newbie to PC/Windows etc.

It only happens on Firefox and not Internet Explorer. The site is Walk4Life
What is the web address of that page? Does this happen anywhere else? As a test, start Firefox in Safe Mode.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
The URL is www.walk4life.info and no it doesn't happen anywhere else. Thanks.

Did you try Safe Mode in Firefox?
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
No not yet, trying the other ideas first, thanks
