Flyout menus don't work in bookmarks menu bar
Last night FF auto installed FF 27 since then if I'm viewing a web page and go to my favorites then try to use the fly-out menu to use the "Open in new tab" option nothing happens because the fly-out menu is grayed out. In other words my fly-out menu was some how disabled. I have to personally open the new tab first, then go to bookmarks, then select the web site I want to open. Not a big deal really, just a BIG waste of time.

Are you able to open bookmarks in a new tab either by middle-clicking them or by holding down the Ctrl key and left-clicking them?
Is the context menu for items on the bookmarks toolbar still grayed out when you start Firefox with add-ons disabled (AKA Safe Mode)?

I've done nothing to my system but now this problem is corrected. It started after version 27 got auto installed last night and I noticed it this morning. But this never happened before in any version of FF I've had. As I said though everything is back to normal. Maybe I didn't say it clearly enough from an open web page I would go to my bookmarks menu drop down list from there I would pick a site I wanted and right click that fly-out menu was grayed out but now it's not and I didn't do anything. I have no idea what happened and would like to know what to do if this happens again. I'm a novice so be gentle with me. Ha Ha
