Thunderbird 24.2.0 on Fedora 18 (3.10.4-100.fc18.x86_64)

Prior to version 17, when I clicked a link in Thunderbird, the link opened in a new tab in Firefox. After upgrading to 17 and now to 24, when I click a link in Thunderbird a new, empty Firefox window opens. I have to manually copy and paste the links in order to open them.

Thanks!

Nothing worked. I get still a new blank Firefox window.

I just tried to change network.protocol-handler.app.http to "/usr/bin/konqueror", restarted Thunderbird... and I get a new blank Firefox window!!

(The path of Konqueror is correct, I tried also with the correct path of Firefox.)

Try disable all your extensions on Firefox and try again.

I disabled all extensions on Firefox, restarted both Firefox and Thunderbird, and I get still a new, blank window.
