29.0.1 Changes - How do I get the rectangular tabs back?? And hide "Open Menu?"

This latest update is really ugly. If I wanted my browser to look like Chrome, I'd be using Chrome already, not FF. Is there a way to revert the look of the browser so that it uses the classic rectangular tabs instead of these annoying rounderones?

Also, this "open menu" icon seems to be stuck on the main toolbar and even when clicking "remove from toolbar," it doesn't go away. It's taking up unnecessary space - any way to get rid of the stupid thing?

I understand your frustration and surprise at the removal of these features but I can't undo these changes. I'm just a support volunteer and I do not work for Mozilla but you can send any feedback about these changes to http://input.mozilla.org/feedback. Firefox developers collect data submitted through there then present it at the weekly Firefox meeting.

Here are a few suggestions for restoring the old design. I hope you’ll find one that works for you:

This update sucks.

Does anyone have the 29.0.0 version saved which can be used to re-install?

I want the ability to move the back/forward/refresh buttons anywhere I want as I was able to do previously prior to this f'ng release.

I AGREE. HECK OF A CHANGE TO SNEEK ON YOU IN AN UPDATE.

I shouldn't have to use an add-on to get something "old" back. It should have been an option in the update to begin with.

By far, the dumbest thing I have ever seen from Firefox. What on earth were these fools thinking????

THIS...is exactly why I hesitate every time I am asked to update.

Listen carefully, you inept dolts.....a feature such as an entirely new and completely different layout....should be an OPTION! You complete buffoons!

Where the frakk are my navigation buttons? What's with this new and comically non-intuitive "customize" feature?

But mostly....WHY CAN'T I GET FIREFOX BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE THIS IDIOTIC UPDATE????

If you were looking for reason to defect to you-know-who.....looks like now is about the right time.

Firefox, this was truly dumb.

And ya, I agree with the previous post....frakking SNEAKY much?

No warning. No ability to opt-out of this hideous change of layout.

This is dumber than dumb.

Exactly. People saying "oh well just go back to the old unsecure version then" are being ridiculous. Something marked as a SECURITY update should not change the entire design and functionality of the browser. Granted, I installed the add-on and it's working just like normal now but that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
