Running Thunderbird 31.5.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate. I occasionally have an issue where I can't download messages from my POP3 server. This has been working fine for many years, but lately I'm seeing this issue every few weeks or so.

I click on Get Messages, and at the bottom left I can see "Name@Domain.com Downloading message 1 of 100..." At the bottom right, the green progress bar looks to be at 100%. After a minute or two, the downloading message just goes away and a message saying something to the effect of no messages to download. I can go to the webmail page for this account and see those 100 messages.

I found an article about turning on logging for mail, by setting up this batch file: set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=pop3:5 set NSPR_LOG_FILE=%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\pop3.log "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe"

When I run that, I get the log file on my desktop, however, I'm not sure what I'm looking for in this file. It appears that its getting a list of all the messages in this account, but nothing gets downloaded. Is there something specific I should be looking for?

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Posted a reply there. Turns out this is a bug in Kaspersky 2015.
