I have multiple accounts (no identities). The problem is with Account1 (domain email) and Account 2 (gmail) which both use the same inbox - this means Account1 has set its own inbox (not the Local inbox). I have also an account 2, which use the inbox of account1. Until TB 24.8.1 everything worked fine. But all new versions of TB have a different behaviour (bug?). If I receive an email on account2, it is correctly put in account1-inbox. But if I am replying on this email, the "From:" changes to the account1 (instead of using account2).

As mentioned, this behaviour did not occur never up to the version 24.8.1. All newer TB are affected. So my inbox for gmail account2 is the same as my inbox for my domain account1, this means, gmail emails go into domain inbox. When I use the reply button on a gmail message TB 24.8 (and before) uses as sender the same account the message was address to (gmail - replay use gmail account, domain - replay use domain replay). TB 28*- uses for replay on gmail message the domain account1. It seems to be a bug, I reported it one year ago, but nobody took a look on it.

Some settings: - In config file I see this info about account2: it is deferred to account1. - domain account1 has its own folder structure (inbox, drafts, Sent...) and the gmail account2 inbox is set through: Tools-Account settings-(gmail account) - Server Settings - Advanced - Inbox for different account: (domain account1). - both are POP type accounts

I tested this behaviour on a fresh portable installations without addons (last tested on TB45).

Does anybody know if this is a bug or some intended change og TB behaviour?

Why are you using a combined inbox for the accounts? Is the unified inbox deficient in some way?

If I am right, combined inbox puts ALL incoming emails into one unified inbox. That is not what I am looking for. As I mentioned I have multiple accounts, not only 2. This means, I have e.g. 3 Work1 emails, 2 Work2 emails, 2 personal emails etc... I need all work1 emails (from all 3 accounts) to be put together in a separate inbox, the same for Work2 emails (in another inbox) and also personal emails... But the mentioned behaviour of TB30*+ makes the use of TB impossible, because you have to look everytime you answer an email to which account it belongs and for email2 and email3 on Work1 change everytime the "From" option to the correct account (and if you sometimes forget it wrong email address is used for an answer).

The described behaviour was not present for years in TB (3.*-24.8.1). I am looking for an answer about the new behaviour (is this a bug or is this a intended change) for more than a year without success and still on TB24.8.1 due this bug(?)...

So "combined inbox" is really not a solution.
