I am a little upset at Mozillas response to my question telling me this is an official Mozilla Website and not to ask Tor questions

Why does Tor direct me to Mozilla then?

Thanks

Hi

I believe that the Tor browser is based upon Firefox, so for a number of issues, our Knowledge Base may be able to help with generic answers.

We cannot control who wants to link to our pages. If the issue is something that can be solved with a Firefox solution we will do our best to help, but if the issues is particular to the Tor browser, the team who developed it would be the best people to contact.

I think that the Firefox version that Tor uses is based upon the Firefox ESR release.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
