I have three identical Citrix servers. I installed Firefox on all three. Two work great. The third freezes on start. Seems like it freezes before it completely starts up. I only get one instance of firefox in task manager and there should be two or more. Opens to white blank page. Websites do not work. Can't get to preferences/options to make changes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times each time removing all profile directories as well as registry entries and rebooted. Everytime same result. Not sure where to go from here.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
