I'm seeing the same issue. I'm on a similar us-west-2 server, albeit a different number (581 vs 663)

The log shows:

It looks that currently the server is not available, so try again tomorrow.

I too see this issue in the error log "Status.login: error.sync.reason.serverMaintenance => success.status_ok" ... and sync does not work anymore on neither iPhone, Win, Linux, Android.

But there is no announcement that any of the servers would be down?

If this is lasting a few days already then probably something else is wrong.

Did you try to disconnect and reconnect Sync?

In case of issues with Sync you can try this:

Disconnect from Sync and Reconnect to Sync again. You can disconnect from Sync via "Options/Preferences -> Sync".

Delete the signedInUser.json file in the Firefox profile folder and delete the Weave folder (Sync was formerly named Weave) with Firefox closed.

Remove an existing chrome://FirefoxAccounts entry in the Firefox Password Manager.

If that isn't enough then delete the prefs.js files to reset all prefs and maybe also delete the compatibility.ini file to reinitialize the profile.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

After a few days of failure, "FF Sync" works for me again. Without any intervention on my part. On all devices...

Same for me: Iphone FF -> OK Iphone Lockwise -> OK Lapotop -> OK PC -> OK .......

Everything back to normal across all of my devices as well.

I hope that Mozilla makes a statement of some kind of what the server issues were.

Is there a published "maintenance" schedule somewhere?
