Firefox updated to v.22 today and the Roboform toolbar is nowhere to be seen. It is in add-ons and enabled, but not visible through toolbars or as the icon to customize toolbars. All was well with Firefox 21. There appears to be a compatibility problem between Roboform and Firefox 22. Installed version is Roboform v. 7.8.9.5. Please work with them and issue an update. We're stuck without it!

Meanwhile, do you have any suggestions about how to get this working? Reinstalling RF didn't make any difference.

phil01: Assuming your license for Roboform is valid, you should be able to update to v7.9..

I had Firefox 22 installed and Roboform Pro Version 7.9.0.0 (en-english, ENG) Jun 26 2013 12:07:15 and I kept losing my Roboform Menu everytime I re-start Firefox. I install Roboform and the menu is there until I stop running Firefox. Next time I run FF the Roboform menu is gone!! I downloaded Firefox 21 and same applies with that -hmm I have friends with the same problem with the latest Roboform and FF. I didnt ever think I would ever revert back to IE but I have now, as have my friends.... Roboform works fine on that.

Not sure when you mean by RF menu, but, I have lost nothing.

Can you explain? Thanks.

Hi Stevolt, I haven't heard of that problem before.

If Firefox menus and toolbars change when you restart Firefox, there may be a permissions problem or corrupted file in your Firefox settings folder (also known as your profile folder), or you may have a program clearing Firefox settings.

I have uninstalled FF completely and re-installed it, thinking that may be a problem, so not sure what else I can do, unfortunately I'm just a user not a techie

Hi Stevolt, if that doesn't help, check out the above links. I don't think the actual URLs are listed in the email notification, but you can click them in the post above.

Hi Stevolt, I don't use RoboForm. Can you check these two places:

  • Toolbar list

right-click a blank area of the tab bar or use the classic View menu

Does RoboForm appear here and is it enabled?
  • Extensions list

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Does RoboForm appear here and is it enabled?

RoboForm's FAQ for Firefox is here: http://www.roboform.com/support/faq/roboform-v7#faq_firefox

You must have ghosts in your computer because I don't have any of these issues.

Good luck and happy Friday (as happy as can be!)

I went to the Classic Menu chose 'Tools' then 'Add-ons' - I found RoboForm was enabled, so I clicked 'Disable'. I then closed FF and re-opened it and repeated the above but now clicked 'Enable' and lo and behold RF menu bar is back !

I am using a brand new 14" Sony Vaio laptop, 8gb ram and an i5 but then it also has the kiddies operating system - Windows 8. I hate this OS with a vengeance. I do not get this problem on my PC with Win7. It has exactly the same FF and RF versions and always works fine - duh!!!!
