When I link a hyperlink that will redirect me to another website, it gets blocked with a popup ad. How can I get rid of this menacing popups? I have installed the Adblock add-on. I tried installing spyhunter malware but I get "error with downloading updates, see internet settings" how do I adjust the settings to allow updates. I also have McAfee firewall on.

Appreciate any advices you could give me. Thank you.

hello, you have plus hd present, which is a malicious addon. please try these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
