When (or if) is Firefox 57 going to have an "Autofill Forms" add-on? I use it all the time & can't run F. 57 because of this!
Firefox 57 add-ons says that "Autofill Forms" is no longer supported. It's the one thing I use the most & I've had to go back to F. 56 just to get it. Are there any plans to bring this add-on back for F. 57? Some of my other add-ons aren't supported either.
I REALLY don't like the overall look of 57 & find it harder to use! NOT an improvement in those respects. My OS is Win. 7 & I have no plans to change it. My brother suggests I try Chrome or Opera instead of Firefox, but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

Hi
Some of that functionality is now in Firefox Quantum and may be extended further in the future.
If you type about:preferences in the address bar and search for autofill address you should see the options for Firefox Quantum to store useful information for populating forms on web pages.
See the article Automatically fill in your address on web forms.
This feature was built into Firefox version 56; however, not all Firefox users see it since it's being rolled out gradually. I'm pretty sure it will be available soon in Firefox version 57.

If you wish, you can enable the feature in the Configuration Editor for Firefox (about:config page).
- In the address bar, type about:config and press the Enter key.
If the about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page appears, click I accept the risk! to continue to the about:config page. - Find the preference extensions.formautofill.available
- Double-click on it and change the value from staged-rollout to on
- Restart Firefox.
