Logged in with username and password but can't manage account or sync.
Hi, I have multiple devices signed in to my Firefox account and have used sync for several years. Following a recent update to Firefox version 58.0.2 I have found that my Windows computer (Windows-7), is unable to sign in correctly or use any sync services. I am able to go to "Sign in to sync" and enter my credentials successfully and it gives the impression (in options - Firefox accounts) that I am signed in to my account correctly. However, none of my saved logins are accessible, none of my bookmarks are updating and the "manage account" hyperlink is unresponsive. The device also fails to appear under "Devices and apps" on my other signed in devices. Each time I log out and try to log back in again, it takes me through security and sends a confirmation email to my primary email address. I acknowledge this email and it appeas to be confirmed but I'm never properly signed in.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Paul.

Thank you PKshadow for your response. I do already have an up-to-date backup of my profile saved but really appreciate your advice. My specific problem does not relate to the size of the data I'm trying to sync. It is more to do with account log in. Although my credentials are correct, I am never properly logged in to my account when I enter them. The sync icon always displays "login to sync" and I'm unable to manage my account in preferences. However, my credentials are accepted and my log in name does appear in preferences window. This is not user error, it is something to do with account authorisation or SW.

Hi again. In the last URL there is a email address for contact as mentioned. It is to bugzilla and you would need to register then say the above as descriptively as possible and someone should get back to you.
We do not have access to anything on Sync and we do not look after that here. Just the previous URL's is about all I know about it as I do not use it.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Thanks PKshadow, I've followed your advice and posted on Bugzilla.

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.
