Password just stopped working. Can't get or receive mail - sbcglobal.net (yahoo.com)
My Thunderbird password has stopped working. I can't receive or send email. The box asking for the password keeps coming up and telling me that my login to server outbound.att.net with the user name (my email address) failed. I have checked the saved passwords and only the inbound password is saved in there, but I can't get inbound either. This was working just fine and just happened out of the blue. I notice sfhowes has solved this problem for others. Wonder if you might chime in.

Did you create a secure mail key, delete the old passwords in Saved Passwords, set the authentication to 'normal password', restart TB, and enter the key when prompted?
