I am using version 91.5.0esr (64-bit). Virtually always, the download status shows as failed. Yet, there were files created by the download. I have even been able to go back literally months in the downloads history, click to retry each download, which is then showed as being successful. I did NOT reload the pages whose content I was trying to download. I realize that a browser tends to have a cache, but surely not that big. I'm guessing that showing the status failed is some type of error.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

Thanks FredMcD,

I should have specified that asked Firefox to save the complete web page. Physically, Firefox appears to have done that; I can load the saved version of the page.

Given the overall situation, I get the impression that the issue is a "bug"/error. If it is a "bug", than as "bugs" go, it doesn't seem like a serious one, but I was hoping for a response from someone who know more about it than I do, as to whether or not it is "bug". At the moment I don't even know how to file a trouble ticket, but if people are allowed to file such requests, I would not wish to, if it is somehow not really a "bug".
