Updated firefox to newer version and now it wont even start up.... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still didnt help... Ive tried opening firefox in safe mode and it still wont open... When i open task manager to see what it does it will pop up, go up to about 2,600k of memory usage and wont do anything else... It wont even pop up, load, or act like its even trying to start....

Do you have Roboform installed?

Do you have a SSO extension installed?

I have neither one that I know of.

Do a clean uninstall of your present FF using free programs like Revo uninstaller. This will clear the root directories and the registries.

Then do a clean install of latest FF.

Please provide a crash id and that will help us pinpoint the cause -> https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report

I am having the same problem. I am running Windows 7. When I ran the troubleshooting feature it asked me what I was running but Windows 7 wasn't on the list. I thought that maybe I had downloaded the wrong version until I realized that the site doesn't give me a choice. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. I'd like to downgrade to the old version but can't seem to figure out how to do this either.
