I am on a networked computer using a roving profile. My profile is stored on a network (K) drive. When I update firefox add ons it does it for the duration of the login session. Soon as I log out and then log in again they are back to previous addons and has not stored my updates. Any suggestions?

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Plugin Check site.

Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.

To do so, please click each yellow or red button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.

Hi, I had done that and installed the updates which seem to have taken. But when I log off my profile and then log on again the version that loads does not have the updates. If I only close Firefox and then reload FF then the updates are present.

Plugins would be in the computer programs folder or its like. Not the profile folder.

Type about:plugins<enter> in the address bar. Now search for the plug-ins.

You have two Shockwave Flash, and two Shockwave for Director
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version 18.0.0.203

Actually the latest Flash player version as of today is 18.0.0.209 as the 18.0.0.203 and older Flash 18 versions is on blocklist due to critical vulnerabilities.
