Hello, one of the computers in our company has a browser redirect issue. Whenever he tries to go to another page, he gets a pop-up redirect for a number of different sites ... auto loans, mortgage refi and even what seems to be a help desk. Once he closes that pop-up, he can then move onto what he really needs to get to. Oh yeah, he is one of the accounting guys, so he's already not happy !!!! Help, Michael @ FormPak

hello, this sounds like an issue with adware/malware that is already active on the device. please perform all these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
