We are having multiple users share the same browser username so we can share our browser history. We will be doing a lot of internet research. How much browser history will be stored? We are all syncing Browser history and need the history to not be deleted within the next 6 months.

Current Firefox versions keep a maximum number of visited page and do not have a time limit for the history. You can see the current value of this maximum as the value of the read-only pref places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages on the about:config page.

When it comes to Sync then things are different: Synced history expires in 60 days (2 months) and synced tabs expire in 7 days and have a maximum payload (20-28 kb: long URLs have effect).

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 26.0.0.151
