My inbox will not display messages. I can still view the messages when I click on them, but the inbox itself is completely blank. I found the above note in a closed forum topic from a couple of years ago. It describes my problem exactly. The answer said to click on the little icon above the up arrow and choose restore defaults. Found and clicked on the icon but no restore defaults option was there. This just happened this morning for no apparent reason. Holds true for all of my email accounts. the sent folders seem to display correctly . I don't know if I did something wrong but would really appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance!! RC

Chosen solution

Run in safe mode (hold Shift when launching TB). If the display look OK, launch again in safe mode, 'Reset toolbars & controls', 'Make changes & restart'. Does it now look OK in normal mode?

Wow SF......That solved my problem! I don't know what went wrong before but am very glad that TBird is back to normal. Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your quick and helpful response! Another donation to Mozilla will be sent right after I hit send here.
