any files downloaded from Firefox ca not be saved as a PDF files since around Dec 6th. When opened by Acrobat, then indicate that the file is corrupt.

Fix firefox so that the downloads can be saved as a PDF file. The same sites downloaded over Chrome and saved as a PDF file work properly.

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
