I have been using ff3.6 for several years and it is great. Thought I would be smart and upgrade, so I d/l ff4 and it started to install then it ‘upgraded to 5" when that was done, it would not start, but asked if I wanted to send an error report, I did. I next uninstalled ff and tried a new clean insatll with ff 4, it started the install and then it needed to upgrade to ff 7. After it installed it was in beta and will not run RoboForm, ANY program that will NOT run RoboForm is NOT worth having !!

So I have uninstalled all Fire Fox, if you can just point me to a clean version of Fire Fox 4 that will not self upgrade that would be nice.

You may stop your browser from auto-updating from here:

  • Firefox > Options > Options > Advanced > Update

And for downloading a clean install packages of Firefox all version you can visit here:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't forget that the previous versions might have security problems. For the latest security updates you MUST upgrade to latest version. That's what I STRONGLY recommend. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the internal link for old versions. I was looking forward to one. I really didn't want to recommend an external link. Now that I found out about this internal link, I'll recommend that from now on.
