Hello - can you offer any solution please? Our emails are sending fine, with the recent exception of all those with a BT Internet address. These are not being delivered, and we get an email 3 days later saying: The following message to <.......@btinternet.com> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) [Default] 421-'Too many messages (1.5.6.1) from 62.24.128.202

We have tried altering the Port 25 to Port 465 and also to 587, but this stopped all our emails ability to send.

Does anyone know what we can do, please. Thanks

Well clearly you aren't alone: search for 'too many messages (1.5.6.1)' on the internet and you get a whole lot of hits. Equally clearly it's not specifically a Thunderbird problem, so I doubt that there will be many people in this forum who have the specialist knowledge to help you. In your shoes I would talk to your email provider in the first instance; also follow up those search results, there may be some help there?
