Why is it that on almost any page I visit, I get a JAVA script error asking me to either terminate the script or continue with it?
Almost every page I visit gives me an error indicating that JAVA script has had a problem. The popup dialog says that there is an "unresponsive script" and then gives me the option to either continue to see if the script will finish or stop the script.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I am currently using the default theme and the only add-on is the JAVA one.
Do you still get that script error?
If that is the case then which script is it referring to?
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.
