After last update (31.3.0) Thunderbird contacts aren't working well. When composing an email if you type for exemple "i" all the contacts with that letter appear and you choose the third one, if you press enter the email changes for the first in the previous list. This is terrible and really dangerous you choose the email you want and after press enter thunderbird changes to the first in the list.

Yep, they broke the address book search by having it use "Includes" instead of "Starts With". This is the exact reason that I am staying with version 24.6 until they come to their senses and fix it.

i can´t believe mozilla didn't fix this yet... this is a big BUG and may lead to send one email to a different person when composing an email. I had to install version 24.6 in 20 computers and disable automatic updates because of this bug. Please fix this! This is a serious problem.

They are working on it and a fix is about to be released. I stayed on version 24.6 just for this reason. I never install an upgrade before the dust settles on this forum after a new release. I have auto update turned off for this exact reason.
