No videos will play in browser
Sites like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon will not play videos. Adobe Flash and Silverlight are installed and up to date according to Firefox

What happens when you try to play a clip?
Please do the following;
Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac
Then reinstall the latest version.

A black screen appears w/no controls.
Amazon gives this message: "The Silverlight plugin isn't loading and might be blocked by your browser."
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.
Go to the web page. Once the page is loading, mouse to the address bar and Left click the icon. A window for displaying site information should come up. Select More Information. Now select Permissions. In the menu, Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.
