Moving from PC to a macbook pro. Downloaded Thunderbird 38.2.0. I'm trying to add new folders under Local Folders. Trash and Outbox are under local folders but I don't see how to add new folders to organize my mail.

When I right click on 'Local Folders'I get a window that allows me to: View setting, Create New Account, Create New Calendar. I don't see anything that allows me to add a 'New Folder'.

I guess I need to figure out how this track pad works before going any further. The two finger tap worked fine once I figured out that is how right click works on a macbook.

I hope moving my address book from PC to Mac will be an easy step..

Try Command click works on older single button macs. Probably works on newer ones.

Your first suggestion was correct. I just didn't know that you had to use two fingers for a right click. I'm being converted from a PC original to a Mac person. My beautiful lady bought me a Macbook Pro for my 65th birthday. Having worked for IBM for 33 years and starting with suitcase computers this is going to take a while. Thanks for your help. My next attempt will be to migrate my address book form Thunderbird on the PC to the Macbook. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
