New version of Firefox has major bugs - need to be fixed ASAP - major site display / link problems
There are two major problems with the new version of Firefox.
1. Firefox does NOT display a large number of web sites. All that I see is a blank screen. There are way too many of these to be the web sites. Also, I tried some of the URLs in another browser and they worked, thereby eliminating the site problem.
2. And very irritating, I went to firefox.com to send this message. Guess what? The "support:" link does not work in Firefox i am sending this from Chrome, where the support link DID work.
I hope that these issues can be resolved quickly. Firefox cannot be used until they are.

There shouldn't be such problems. Possible causes are extensions that block content or security software or malware on your computer.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that has effect.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
