If I delete an e-mail from browser on my e-mail provider website, it disappear from Thunderbird as well. Is it possible, to set up: - synchronization normally, so I would get all new e-mails in Thunderbird, I could send as well from it, but if I want an email to be only on Thunderbird (so on my computer), I could delete from the website (like gmail.com)? Let's say, the reason of it, because I need more free storage space on my email account, so I have to delete the old ones, but I still need them and there is a plenty of storage space on my PC.

Thank you

That is how IMAP email works. You view messages remotely on the server. Delete them from a remote device or at the server they are gone. You can create folders under Thunderbird's Local Folders account and move messages you want to keep there. Then they are on your local drive and out of the providers control.

Thank you, this solution is perfect for me. :)

I will also suggest you use the Copy to instead of Move to so you can be sure you have a good copy in Local Folders before deleting from the server. Several people have reported losing messages when moving them. I have never had a problem with losing messages during a move but just FYI.
