I'm using FreeConferenceCall.com and was told there's a Firefox Addon which provides scheduling capabilities.
At this URL: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permission-request-messages-firefox-extensions?as=u&utm_source=inproduct
There is no mention of "Access your data for calendar.google.com" on the page listed above, so I'd like more explanation of how the Addon uses my Google calendar data.

It probably integrates into calendar so you can click straight from there to the conference, or it can read your schedule to let people know you're in meetings, etc etc
Hello Don Rose,
Would you please take a look at this article :
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permission-request-messages-firefox-extensions
And also :
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2018/02/01/understanding-extension-permission-requests/
I hope that will explain things satisfactorily,
Thanks, McCoy.
Although the links provided helpful technical background, I'm still not clear on how deeply FCC.com's Addon may probe a user's Google Calendar. Are you able to suggest a suggestion toward a path for me to get to their developers to ask them more directly?

Thanks, Eve. I get the practical utility of what you've suggested.
However, in light of recent Zoom, FCC, Teams, AdobeConnect and other video sharing security alerts, I'm concerned how DEEPLY FCC.com may be probing into a user's Google Calendar. I'd like to know how to more granularly control this. Do you have suggestions on where to learn more or directly contact developers of such tools?

Hello Don,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/freeconferencecall-scheduler/
When you go to "More information" (on the left side), you will see : "Support Email" - you could contact the developers directly.
Good luck !
