Firefox Android keeps restarting when I'm not called for it. I have a program that was shut off apps not being used and I'll shut it off and when I come back later having not used it it's back on why does it restart on its own?

Hi Jack

I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean.

Would it be possible for you to set out the exact steps I would need to follow to replicate this issue?

Seburo, you are a helpful person. It's simple really. If I've closed FF. ln fact I have an app that will close and Force Stop all programs running in the background and I've stopped FF. And so now I use the android for a game or anything that does not require a browser or FF. If I open that app again that kills programs running in the background FF is there, running in the background, again, and I never used it. It restarted it on it's own. ???

thanks.

What happens when you close Firefox for Android without using the other app you have installed?

Seburo I will check that out although I feel certain that I've done it both ways. Incidentally closing it with this app does work as I have checked with the phones presentation of what's running and FFox is closed. But I will work on that and get back to you real soon! Thanks! jack ":-Dx

Seburo it does come back one when stopped by the FF app itself. This is off the wall and I'm not sure if it's fact. But seems when I use the OneDrive app FF always on next check. But I haven't proven that yet.
