How do I get the Awesome Bar to show up at the top of my Firefox Browser window?

From one day to the next when shutting down my computer to turning it on the next day, the bookmark toolbar, browser address window (& its attendant drop-down history links), Search window, Back Bar (the little arrow you click on to go back one link at a time), etc., all disappeared. At the top of my Firefox Browser is nothing but a gray line where tabs show up. I can, of course, go up to the Firefox Menu Bar at the top of my computer screen and click on File--New Window, but that takes extra time and is quite inconvenient (now that I am accustomed to have convenience of one click searching).

....Corrupt_localstore.rd is a non-site--no information available--no answer to my problem. Why is it even there? This in NO WAY helped me.

A part of the link is missing, it should be http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf

Sorry about the corrupted link. It should have been like Tony posted above.
