Just Installed 14.01 on Galaxy S3 and the homepage takes ages to load. still loading after a minute (on wifi and 3G).

links are unresponsive and I can't find where the options I need are - set UA, load images, block popups, download directory, set homepage, cache to sd, etc. etc.

I'm hoping I'm just missing something, but I have a horrible feeling that the most customizable browser on desktop is the least on mobile. Please tell me If that's the case, I don't want to be wasting any more time with it.

Can you check to see if you have 'Don't keep Activities' enabled in the Android Developer settings? If so, can you disable it, and try Firefox again? Does it make a difference?

I'm not sure why you're seeing about:home take a while to load.

Thanks for the reply, but speeding up about:home is not what I'm asking.

I want to change the homepage to one that I want. I also want to change the download folder, cache to sd etc. Speeding it up would be good too - it's atrociously slow compared to Boat, Dolphin, Chrome and Stock browsers (doesn't bode well for Firefox OS).

Also, on a Galaxy S3, pressing on links in one part of the screen instead presses a link in another part of the screen (about 3-4 cm apart).
