Some subscribed folders missing in Thunderbird 24.5.0
i am new to Thunderbird and have just installed ver 24.5.0. I have checked through all of the folders and they are all subscribed to, yet a number of the subscribed folders are not showing. i have gone to the subscribe section and I can see that they have been subscribed to, so I unsubscibed and then re subscribed but that did not help. They remained missing.
When I open the same IMAP email address in Outlook 2010 I can see all of the folders and they show as subscribed.
I must have 200 folders and there are about 6 or 8 missing. Some have a tree of folders below them and some are simply a stand alone folder under the Inbox.
Under Synchronization & Storage I have the following enabled Keep messages for this account on this computer is checked. Synchronize all messages locally regardless of age is checked Don't Delete any Messages is checked Always keep starred messages in checked
As much as i would like to get away fro Outlook 2010 I cant have my messages and folders disappearing.
Help would be most appreciated.

Go to the menu bar and check View-Folders and make sure ALL is checked.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.
Thanks for the suggestion, I checked and ALL FOLDERS are checked
could the total length of these folders when put together exceed around 200 characters?
Thanks but all fioders is checked. Also someone posted is the tree more than 200 characters, no it is not. The longest tree is 56 characters.
Thanks for all info info so far but my problem continues to exist.
please name a couple of the folders..... there have been problems for years with umlauts and accents in names, so please name a couple.
Thanks Matt, none of the folder have any special character, and certainly no umlauts, some of the folders are Namibia, INQUIRIES South Africa, and a whole tree of folders under this. Rwanda, and a whole tree of folders under this
I did rename a few of them to make sure that there were no hidden characters, or blank spaces and that seemed to work randomly, but did not work through the board.
